Micah Wilson shares his near-death experience that helped him and his family overcome a dark spell.
Micah grew up under a generational curse linked to his great-grandfather, who showed off magical powers like levitating tables. This opened a door to demonic oppression that had affected the family for three generations. As a child, Micah endured terrifying nightly encounters with demonic beings, including one walking through his bedroom wall, forcing him to seek refuge with his parents.
In his teens, Micah repeatedly dreamed of driving with a dark entity in the passenger seat. Each dream ended with him crashing. A month later, at 17, the dream came true. While driving home, he turned too fast, the car spun, flipped, and landed in a ditch. He hit his head, had a seizure, and was pinned by wrist and leg— but a perfect indentation in the ditch spared his head from being crushed.
Everything went black. Micah felt himself floating and, impossibly, heard his cousin calling for help from a quarter-mile [0.4 kilometers] away. Then he was carried rapidly over a dark abyss by an unseen figure, who did not allow Micah to turn or look at him. When Micah asked, “Why won’t you let me go?” the figure replied, “If I let you go here, there’s no coming back.” Micah later understood this perilous realm as the “valley of the shadow of death,” where dark entities wait to seize souls that deny or separate themselves from God.
Micah saw a distant Light, and they zoomed toward it. They sped through a magnificent wooden door into a radiant place where deceased family members silently conveyed their disappointment at Micah’s lifestyle, as he wasn’t living for God. Turning to the figure, Micah realized it was Lord Jesus (vegetarian), Who radiated Love and Grace. Overwhelmed with shame, Micah apologized for his sins and wept on Lord Jesus’s shoulder. When Micah apologized for his tears, Lord Jesus comforted him, saying, “If you had seen Me while I was on the cross, you would know this isn’t a big deal to Me.” Lord Jesus told him it wasn’t yet his time— he had a purpose to fulfill— and sent him back.
Micah reentered his body as rescuers arrived. Though pinned, he miraculously freed his broken wrist and knee and slid from the wreck. His family believed Micah was spared by Divine intervention.
Afterward, trauma brought Micah depression, addiction, and loss, including his wife’s tragic death. But years later, God gave Micah a dream warning about his young daughter Lily’s safety. This gave him renewed purpose.
Micah dedicated Lily to God, breaking the generational curse. The demonic entities disappeared, replaced by faith and transformation. For Micah, the most lasting impact was experiencing Lord Jesus’ overwhelming Love, which empowered him to overcome oppression, loss, and despair (Randy Kay)
Inspirational quote of the day: “Let your eye be chaste, your hand faithful, your tongue truthful and your heart enlightened.” – The Venerated Enlightened Prophet Bahá’u’lláh (vegetarian)
