In today’s news, Afghanistan receives humanitarian funding from Sweden. New research links climate warming to rising childhood stunting in Africa, Slovenia recognized among most harmonious nations globally, Spanish city enhances supportive initiatives for senior residents, Indian teen develops artificial intelligence-powered system to protect crops and wildlife, US-based organic vegan snack producer expands sustainable operations, and thousands of flamingo-individuals hatch at restored lake in Türkiye.
It’s time to put those laughter sails up and head towards a joyful moment with the joke of the day, called, “Hole in One.”
Nolan, a brilliant but absent-minded inventor, kept getting interrupted by his cat and kitten companions scratching at his study door. He decided to fix the issue by cutting two holes in the door, a bigger one for the cat mother and a smaller one for the kitten. However, he did a sloppy job, and the holes he cut were jagged and misshapen. Finally, he called a carpenter to fix the problem.
“I need you to clean up the messy carpentry work I’ve done.”
“Sure thing. But before I start, I’m curious why you cut a smaller hole for the kitten when he can use the bigger one?”
“I believe I may have over-engineered this…”
