The story follows Bárbara and Andrés, a married couple whose lives are turned upside down when their son Lucca is born with cerebral palsy due to complications during birth. Despite their grim outlook, Bárbara refuses to accept their bleak predictions. Her unwavering love for Lucca fuels her determination to pursue every possible treatment, regardless of how unconventional or expensive it may be. One day, Bárbara stumbles upon an experimental technology known as the Cytotron, developed in India by Dr. Rajah Kumar. In a bold act of faith, she mortgages their home to fund the journey to Bangalore, India. Lucca becomes the first child with cerebral palsy to undergo Cytotron therapy.While Lucca still faces many challenges, his quality of life improves significantly. Bárbara also embarks on a soul-searching journey, realizing she has carried the burden of guilt for years – blaming herself for Lucca’s condition. Seeking clarity, she meets with the attending doctor who assisted during Lucca’s birth. He tells her it was a miracle of God that both she and Lucca made it through. She begins to write and speak publicly about her journey, determined to bring hope to other families facing similar struggles.
