In today’s news, Planet Water Foundation sends emergency water systems to earthquake-affected areas in Türkiye, Germany could face up to €900 billion in damage from climate change from now until 2050, Samsung distributes special wearable glasses for visually impaired in Korea, Australian fashion brand Alexandra Australia commits to ban fur from clothing line, kindhearted retired man voluntarily repairs road potholes in South Africa, new plant-based fast-food chain opens in United States, and singer and friends establish Ireland’s first pig-person rescue shelter.

Here is a handy tip for you. Ever get tired of a drill bit sliding across hard materials such as tile, metal or glass leading to scratches? Here's a simple solution for that: Just apply a thin piece of cardboard over the hard surface and tape it in place. You won't have to worry about the bit gliding now!

We have just received the hilarity newsletter containing the following joke, so let’s check it out. This one’s called “What Chair?”

A college philosophy professor walks in to give her class their final exam. She instructs the students:

“Using everything you’ve learned in this course, prove to me that this chair in front of me does not exist.”

So, pencils are writing furiously, erasers are erasing, students are trying their best to prove that this chair doesn’t exist, except for one student. He spends 30 seconds writing his answer, then turns in his paper quickly to the astonishment of his peers. Time goes by, and the day comes when all the students get their exam results. And to the amazement of the class, the student who wrote for 30 seconds got the highest grade. His answer was: “What chair?”

And now we have a heartline from Eliška in the Czech Republic
