Keeping a garden thriving in the Artic is no small feat, so I choose my plants carefully. I have a useful tip for you today. Any time you handle a plant, wear gloves and wash your hands afterwards to reduce potential skin irritation or allergic reactions. Be sure to research the toxicity of plants prior to planting them in your garden. Euphorbias, for example, contain a toxic milky sap that causes a painful rash and can even lead to severe discomfort if it touches the eyes. Monkshood consists of potent chemicals that can cause poisoning after accidental ingestion and skin irritation. Furthermore, steer clear of lantanas since they contain leaves and berries that are toxic to both humans and animal-people. Angel’s trumpet, or Brugmansia, is also extremely poisonous since all parts of the plant are made up of significant amounts of alkaloid chemicals. To be safe, it is best to select non-toxic varieties like verbena, a perennial that yields tall spires of beautiful pink and purple blooms.

We visited the laugh store and chose the following joke for you. It’s entitled “A Tad Different.”

The loan officer and the client were discussing loan options:

“Based on your credit history, it seems the only kind of loan you qualify for is called a S-E-L-F loan.”

“Oh, sounds great, what kind of loan is that?”

“Well, you lend your own money to your ‘self.’”

!?

And now we have a heartline from Bayarmaa in Mongolia
