Are you going home? (He thanked Master very much for coming to Korea.) It’s alright. You tell him that he’s welcome. Does he have a question? Is he anxious to ask a question? Wait a minute. He wants to. He’s anxious. Be quick. Wait a second. Let him ask. Translate quickly. (He just asked Master, since Master has come here this time, to stay in Korea, and then in the future Korean people can receive Master’s Blessings. It’s the question that he asked Master before. But what he would like to ask is… What he had in mind was this. He has been to many religions, but he hasn’t found the answer. Therefore, if he practiced by himself and progressed slowly, he could save others. But in his current situation, maybe his previous lifetime… His current level seems to be lower than his previous lifetime. Therefore, he feels depressed. That’s why he wants Master to continue staying in Korea. A man like him, he keeps on praying to receive blessing power. He said that is his wish.)

You tell him I also would very much like to stay in Korea; I would very much like to. Wait a minute, wait a minute. But there’re also requests from other initiates, other countries. And I have other extra work to do. Therefore, I can only come and go. But it’s just my physical body that leaves; my blessing power will remain here. It is there whenever he needs it. OK? OK. And so, tell him not to worry. He’ll gradually know what I’m talking about. Many old initiates understand this. Old initiates can understand. You see, like this lady. Before seeing me, she already saw me appear inside. Not to mention those who are initiated, how would I not be present? At that time, I had not come to Korea yet. I have a question about the Quan Yin Method and this [inner Heavenly] Sound. Can you acknowledge that the sound of the waves off the coast of Busan comes from the mind?) If the Quan Yin Method has the [inner Heavenly] Sound stream, then, here in Busan, there are lots of seashores, where we can hear the sound of the sea. Does the Sound of the Quan Yin Method mean the sound of the sea?) This Sound of the sea refers to the (inner Heavenly) Sound within. In the Universal Gate Chapter, it’s mentioned: “The Sound of Brahma, the Sound of ocean tide, and the Sound transcending the world.” (Is what we call the inner Self, Self-Nature?) (Is the inner [Heavenly] Sound of Ocean tide our Self-Nature?) Our Self-Nature. Yes, yes, yes. (If we know that it arises from Self-Nature, does that mean we can attain enlightenment?) (If this sound comes naturally from our Self-Nature, if we realize it, are we enlightened?) Yes.

(I have a specific question. I am a housewife. Please tell me about having and raising children.) (What she asked is about bearing and raising children. What is the better way to bear and raise children, for the good of the children or the housewife. That’s what she asked.) This you have to ask the doctor. Maybe they are also very tired. The translators are also very tired. Because you asked all those complicated questions which are difficult to translate. Your questions are not concise and hard to understand.

When we give birth to children, of course we have to take care of their health. Give them sufficient material to study, to grow up, to become strong, but don’t spoil them. Our children, besides taking care of their health, also have to take care of their morality and spirit. So that they can grow up to be good, and then become good citizens of the country, and be beneficial to sentient beings. And we have to take care of them since childhood, by teaching them some common sense of living. For example, how to take care of themselves, and how to cook. How to respect others. And pay attention to what kind of books they read. You have to discipline them properly. Otherwise, they read lousy books which are bad for their minds, bringing bad influences on them. Let them read virtuous or scientific books, that are helpful to their intelligence and wisdom. Don’t encourage or let them watch sexually explicit or violent TV shows, books or newspapers, which are not good for them.
