Nutritionists say a vegan diet can help strengthen muscles and improve endurance, including older adults. Four key foods can boost blood flow, speed recovery, and protect muscle health: 1) Pumpkin Seeds Eat 2 tablespoons (28–30 grams) daily for magnesium, zinc, and healthy fats that ease cramps. Choose raw, dry roasted, or sprouted seeds— avoid salty or oil-roasted kinds. 2) Cherry Juice Drink ¾–1 cup (180–240 milliliters) of pure, unsweetened juice daily. It reduces inflammation, helps recovery, improves sleep, and can help strengthen muscles for walking and other exercises. Best taken in the morning or before dinner. 3) Spinach Rich in magnesium and nitrates, spinach can help build leg strength when eaten in a balanced vegan diet. Lightly steam or stir-fry with lemon or ginger. Avoid overboiling or eating too much raw spinach due to oxalates. 4) Lentils A top protein source, packed with leucine and fiber for muscular endurance. Soak, then cook with turmeric, ginger, and lemon. Serve warm with whole grains and vegetables; avoid canned if possible (Radio 247)

Canadian entrepreneur Andrea Courey shares her near-death experience: In 1991, she awoke with a vivid vision: she and her husband were walking on a snowy sidewalk at night when a car jumped the curb and hit them. She even heard him scream, “Oh my God, we’ve been hit by a car.” She dismissed it as impossible and promptly forgot about it.
That night, the vision came true. Leaving a Christmas event in Montreal [Canada] during a storm, she and her husband walked along a snow-covered sidewalk when a car jumped the curb and struck them from behind. Flying through the air, Andrea heard the same scream from her vision. Realizing she had been prepared, she thought, “Someone has gone to so much trouble,” and surrendered to the situation. She landed 35 feet [10.6 meters] away after hitting cars.
Andrea left her body and rose 9 feet [2.7 meters] above it, at first not recognizing it as hers. She noticed her coat and the snow but felt no pain or fear. Guests rushed out coatless, screaming, and she tried to call, “Go back in and get a coat, I’m okay,” but no one heard. The chaos faded as a force, light, and a sense of well-being blanketed her, drawing her away.
A tall, luminous male figure, whose face she couldn’t see, addressed her: “Andrea, would you like to stay or go back?” She answered, “I have three little kids. I must go back.” The figure asked again. Andrea insisted, “Even if every bone in my body is broken, I have to go back.” Instantly, she was pulled into a vortex, spinning violently. Clinging to the edges, she feared being flung out, until she slammed back into her body.
Her first thought was, “Oh my God, I don’t want to forget this. Please let me remember this.” Thirty years later, the memory remained vivid, confirming to her that consciousness is separate from the body. This realization helped her cope years later when her daughter, Khloe, passed away in 2016. At Khloe’s bedside in the hospital, Andrea sensed her presence, saying, “Hi Mom, I’m so glad you’re not hysterical. Thank you so much. I’m glad you weren’t in the room because I couldn’t have let go of my body if you had been.” This echoed Andrea’s near-death experience and brought her comfort, realizing the eternal nature of the soul (IANDS)
